Maclaren River Lodge

Lodge/Bar/Restaurant on the Denali Highway, great place to hang out during the summer and winter. Good food, nice bar, cool people who own it, and acceptable accomodations, albeit rugged, and remote. Wonderful view of the Maclaren Glacier, right on the river. Wildlife abounds in this remote spot. Fishing and ATVing in the summer, snow machining, hunting, cross country skiing in winter. Good enough place for Princess Tours who stop with a busload 4 times a week for lunch. Great place to kick back
